Pippin Hill Farm + Vineyards is one of the lovliest wedding venues in our area. I can't get over the beautiful views and incredible space every time I visit. Also lovely is their selection of new dishes and cocktails for their spring menu. The signature drinks and late-night snacks would make such a great addition to a wedding!

"Kiss Royale" - Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, Pomegranate Liquor, Pomegranate Seeds

"Perfect Pear" - Pear Liquor, St. Germain, Pear Nectar, Dehydrated Pear

"Pucker Up Punch" - Ruby Red Vodka, X-Rated Fusion, Lemonade, Raspberries

White Truffle Popcorn

"Maker Happy" - Lavender Syrup, Maker's Mark, House Sour, Candied Ginger

Tuna Nicoise - Seared Ahi Tuna, Quail Eggs, Baby Green Beans and Sun Gold Tomatoes, French Olive Vinaigrette

Crispy "Ole Salt" Oysters - Red Pepper Aioli

Watermelon Napoleon - Stack of Watermelons and Grilled Ricotta Salata, Mint Pistou, 50 Year Old Balsamic

Brian's family joined us for Thanksgiving this year, and while they were visiting we held a mini family portrait session at Veritas Vineyards. It was cold and blustery, gray and gloomy, but we still managed to have a good time playing in the vines.  Perhaps it was the double flight tasting beforehand?  :)

We found a backhoe.  And of course, we had to climb on it.  Why not?

We also found the last of the fall color...anywhere.

I snuck into the last one...

Last Saturday Brian and I spent the afternoon with our good friends Tommy + Kristin.  There was wine tasting.  And a picnic.  And more wine.

The weather was lovely.  It is starting to feel just a touch like Fall around here.  We took advantage and found some vines to play amongst, and after that a corn field.

It was a good Saturday, one I hope to repeat very, very soon.  Thanks T + K, you were such fun to photograph!
